How billing works
Quotify subscriptions (Pro and Business) are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the device you purchased on. We never see or store your payment details — Apple or Google handles the entire transaction.
Because the app store is the merchant of record, refund requests go through Apple or Google, not through us directly.
How to request a refund
Both stores provide a self-service refund flow. Use the one that matches where you bought your subscription:
- App Store (iPhone, iPad, Mac): visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the Quotify purchase, and tap "Request a Refund". Or on your device: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Quotify.
- Google Play (Android): visit play.google.com/store/account, or open the Play Store app → profile → Payments & subscriptions, find the Quotify purchase, and use "Report a problem" to request a refund.
Refund eligibility
Apple and Google review each refund request on a case-by-case basis. Common situations where refunds are typically granted:
- You were charged after you thought you'd already cancelled.
- A child or family member made an unintended purchase.
- The app didn't work as described and we couldn't resolve the issue.
- You were double-charged or billed in error.
Refund decisions are made by Apple or Google. We're happy to support your request — just email us and we'll do what we can on our end.
Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel anytime. When you cancel, you keep access to paid features until the end of the current billing period — no partial refund is issued for the remaining days, but you won't be charged again.
To cancel on iOS/iPadOS/macOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Quotify → Cancel. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Quotify → Cancel.
Business (one-time) purchases
The Business plan is a one-time purchase. Because it's a perpetual license with no recurring billing, standard App Store and Google Play refund policies apply. If you're unhappy within the first 14 days, request a refund through Apple or Google — we won't contest it.
Free plan
The Free plan costs nothing and never will. There's nothing to refund — but if you're having trouble with the free tier, reach out and we'll help.
How we can help
While we can't process refunds directly (Apple and Google handle that), we can:
- Diagnose technical issues that led you to request a refund.
- Confirm your subscription status and billing history on our side.
- Provide documentation to support your refund request with Apple or Google.
- Make sure your account is in the right state after a refund is granted.
